Welcome To Confluence

Confluence Music School is where Wichita's young musicians and music industry dreamers — ages 8 to 18 — come to find their place in the world of music. Confluence is designed for students who already have some musical foundation — whether that's a year of lessons, playing in a school band, or just time spent learning on their own. If they know the basics, we'll take them the rest of the way.

Our instructors are local working musicians and industry professionals who love to teach. They bring real-world experience into every lesson and every class — helping students build solid skills while exploring the music that actually excites them and the careers that support it. From learning to play guitar or keys, to understanding how a record gets made, how a tour gets booked, how a show gets produced, or how a venue runs its box office — we cover the full world of music, not just the stage.

At Confluence, we believe music education should feel less like homework and more like discovery. Because when young people connect with music on their own terms — whether that's as a performer, an engineer, a promoter, or a touring professional — something clicks. And it tends to stick.
