Every great song needs someone behind the glass making it sound incredible. That's the recording engineer — and that's you. In this class, students get hands-on access to a real, professional recording studio and learn how to capture live music the way the pros do it.

How a professional recording studio works — from the control room to the live room

The basics of microphone placement and signal flow

How to use industry-standard software (DAW) to record, arrange, and mix tracks

How to communicate with musicians during a session (hint: it's as much people skills as technical skills)

Mixing and basic mastering — making a recording sound polished and release-ready

The Big Finale:
At the end of the session, your class will record the performance class bands live in the studio. Those recordings get mixed, mastered, and released as real songs on streaming platforms — Spotify, Apple Music, all of it — under La Onda Records. Your name in the credits. Your work in the world.
